Radiation belt a new line of defence in nuclear emergency

Apr. 6 – Three Nobel prize winners are throwing their weight behind an anti-radiation belt developed by an Israeli company that protects first-responders from exposure to radiation after nuclear accidents. The “StemRad 360 Gamma” belt is designed to be worn around the waist to protect vulnerable bone marrow from atomic radiation. Tara Cleary reports.
