450-Pound Man Allegedly Stashes Marijuana In Stomach Rolls

An over 400-pound man has been accused of storing drugs in between his stomach rolls.

Any cop can tell you there’s no such thing as a routine traffic stop.

An over 400-pound man has been accused of storing drugs in between his stomach rolls. At a little after 3:30 P.M. on June 13th, a Volusia County deputy witnessed a car driving by and saw the passenger wasn’t wearing his seatbelt.

The cop pulled the vehicle over and immediately noticed the two males inside were acting nervous. The deputy temporarily put that potential problem aside and addressed the seatbelt issue. The passenger, identified as 42-year-old Christopher Mitchell, claimed he weighs 450 pounds and was too big for the seat belt.

Even after speaking with them, the officer wasn’t able to shake his suspicions so a K-9 was brought to the scene to inspect the vehicle. The dog swiftly picked up on the presence of drugs.

A probe revealed 23 grams of marijuana which had been hidden in Mitchell’s stomach rolls. Deputies also discovered cocaine, a sock filled with 7 grand and a .380 caliber pistol.

Both Mitchell and the driver, 38-year-old Keithian Roberts were arrested. Mitchell was charged with ‘possession of marijuana’ and also received a citation for not wearing his seatbelt. Roberts has been charged with ‘possession of cocaine’.
