Super typhoon Rammasun swept through Zhanjiang City in south China’s Guangdong Province on Friday night. The typhoon, packing gales of over 210 kilometers per hour, landed on the southernmost tip of the Chinese mainland in Xuwen County, south China’s Guangdong Province, more than 800 kilometers from the provincial capital Guangzhou.
