Quantum of the Seas Will Venture From US to China



‘Quantum of the Seas’ will depart from the New York area and eventually cruise the waters of China. The journey, which is being called ‘The Quantum Global Odyssey cruise’ will certainly offer an abundance of unique views.

For diehard cruise fans looking for something beyond a traditional 7 night voyage, Royal Caribbean’s eagerly anticipated trip from New York to Shanghai should fit the bill. The impressive journey is scheduled to launch on May 2, 2015.

The voyage will take over 50 nights on ‘Quantum of the Seas’, one of Royal Caribbean’s newest ships’, as it departs from the New York area and makes its way to cruise the waters of China.

The journey, which is being called ‘The Quantum Global Odyssey cruise’ will certainly offer an abundance of unique views. The ship will venture into the Mediterranean, before heading to the Suez canal.

From there, ‘Quantum of the Seas’ will reach the Persian Gulf ahead of the Indian ocean, and ultimately arrive in Asia. Of course, that’s the fast forward version.

Along the way, the vessel will visit over 20 ports including Malaysia, Singapore, Jordan, Dubai, India and Hong Kong. For customers who can’t make the entire trip, Royal Caribbean will also offer shorter voyages of the cruise lasting from three to 16 night packages.

‘Quantum of the Seas’ is a large capacity ship with the ability to hold 4,180-passengers. Onboard, guests will be able to enjoy activities including skydiving, a ride called North Star in addition to bumper cars and roller skating.
