The death toll from Friday’s bombing in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu has risen to more than 25. Unconfirmed reports indicate that the suicide-bomber was a female Dutch national of Somali origin, who worked as a receptionist at the hotel. This raises questions of not just the increased role of foreign nationals in Al-Shabaab attacks but also the security agencies’ ability to secure the capital. CCTV’s correspondent Mohamed Hirmoge filed this report from Mogadishu.
