According to Mark Knoller of CBS News, who keeps meticulous White House records,President Obama’s 1,000th trip aboard Air Force One hit the millennial mark with Wednesday’s trip to New York. Knoeller report states that Obama’s airplane pace is behind that of predecessor George W. Bush, who took 1,675 flights on Air Force One during his eight years in office. The President’s Air Force One flight number 1,001, back to Washington, D.C., comes on Thursday.
