Good morning, Mark. The World Health Organization has designated *Kenya as a high-risk country for the *spread of Ebola.
The warning is the most serious issued by the W-H-O on the probability that the contagious and deadly virus could spread to the other side of the continent.
Kenya, located in eastern Africa, is a major transport hub… with more than 70 flights per week from West Africa.
Nairobi has not yet shown indication that it would ban flights from the four West African states struck by the Ebola outbreak.
Meanwhile, the W-H-O has released new figures on the death toll in that region thus far… 56 new deaths and 1-hundred-28 new cases were reported between Sunday and Monday… Liberia was the worst hit, with 32 new additional Ebola deaths.
Following the clearance to use experimental drugs in treating Ebola victims, Canada has indicated that it would donate up to 1-thousand doses of its test medication to help fight the outbreak.
