A dynamic duo of professional athletes were arrested on Sunday outside a South Beach night club.
Jo-Lonn Dunbar, who plays for the St. Louis Rams and Donte Greene, an NBA free-agent who last played for the Sacramento Kings in 2012, were arrested early Sunday morning outside of the Dream Nightclub in South Beach.
Both were arrested on charges of battery and disorderly conduct after getting in a fight outside of the club.
A security guard, Joe Corvena, working across the street from Dream said Dunbar exited the club around 5 a.m. Sunday. “(Dunbar) started coming out of a doorway of Dream screaming, looking for somebody,” said Corvena. “He was held back by some of his friends.” “When they got in front of the sushi place is when all hell broke loose,” he said. “They just started fist-fighting…swinging. That’s when the police officers took out their tasers.”
Dunbar was suspended for four games in 2013 for juicing, while Greene has been out of the NBA since 2012, and is trying to make comeback this summer.
