How is it possible to innovate on a product like fruit which seems to be pretty evolved? Tariq Farid, CEO of Edible Arrangements, has found the way, taking his two-store operation to over 1,200 retail centers with sales of $500 million in 2013 in 15 years. Farid reveals what has worked for Edible Arrangements, including customer feedback, and what the company is focusing on going forward. Although online is an important vertical for gifts, Farid sees a comeback in brick and mortar stores.
