A gym in Washington DC has opened specifically for dogs, offering doggie treadmills and balance balls. Frolick Dogs, which calls itself a canine sports club, had its grand opening on Thursday 31st July in Alexandria, Virginia. Owners Kevin Gilliam, a dog obedience trainer, and his wife Kim say their new 3,000 square foot business is the first of its kind in the area. The couple think they’ve hit on the next big thing for the nation’s millions of dog owners willing to buy their beloved pet everything from fancy food to Halloween costumes. Report by Sarah Kerr.
