The 16th Escort Task Group of the Chinese Navy and the Western Navy of Nigeria have just completed their first joint counter-piracy exercise in the Gulf of Guinea. The exercise is aimed at boosting mutual military exchange and cooperation, as well as improving the capability of hunting down pirates off Nigeria’s waters.
