4/30/2014 -- Multiple Satellite Views -- Late April 2014 Tornado Outbreak

You can clearly see the Midwest and Southern United States has been stuck under a very powerful low pressure system. The Southern coast being repeatedly battered by ongoing storms over 2+ days.

As the storm system moved out of the Western States… it pressed East by Northeast across the Midwest. Bringing the center / eye of the storm to Nebraska / Iowa / Missouri. This produced a large severe weather outbreak across Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, South and North Carolina, and Florida.

The event THEN REPEATED ITSELF on the next day (on April 29th, 2014).

Again, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, North and South Carolina all received severe weather.

The storm now appears to have moved slightly eastward , but appears to possibly be slowing down again.
