Emotions typically run high in a courtroom. Recently a judge in Michigan reportedly had a hard time keeping his thoughts to himself and told a woman what was really on his mind.

Specifically he said ‘I hope you die in prison. If this were a death penalty state, you’d be getting the chair’. [WLNS]

The outburst occurred during 31-year-old Camia Gamet’s sentencing hearing.

Right before Judge John McBain announced she would be spending the rest of her life behind bars for murdering her boyfriend two years ago, Gamet interrupted the victim’s aunt while she addressed the court.

As she went on with the speech, Gamet cut the relative off and inquired ‘Is that it?’.

During the very important and serious hearing, Gamet also chuckled and rolled her eyes. The judge absolutely exploded in anger and said she needed to close her mouth or he would have it duct taped shut.

‘You were relentless. You stabbed. You stabbed. You stabbed. You stabbed. You stabbed until he was dead.’ [WXYZ]

Gamet’s legal team says she killed in self defense and plans on appealing the sentence.
